Welcome to AVP Construction JAX. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website avpjax.com, our SMS communications, and our finish carpentry services in Jacksonville and St. Johns County, Florida. By using our website, contacting us, or hiring us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

AVP Construction JAX INC is a finish carpentry company providing custom accent walls, entertainment centers, built-ins, custom closets, pantries, dry bars, office build-outs, and related interior carpentry services in Jacksonville and St. Johns County, Florida.

All projects are subject to a separate written contract signed by both parties before work begins. These Terms govern your general use of our website and communications and do not replace the project-specific contract.

2. Eligibility and Service Area

We provide services exclusively in Jacksonville, Florida and St. Johns County, Florida. We may decline projects outside this service area at our discretion.

You must be at least 18 years old to engage our services or submit information through our website.

3. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number to AVP Construction JAX — through our website contact form, by texting us directly, or by sharing it with us in person, by phone, or via social media — you consent to receive text messages from us related to your project, inquiry, or business with us.

These messages may include:

Appointment and consultation confirmations
Estimates, invoices, contracts, and payment links

Crew arrival reminders
Post-project follow-ups, review requests, and seasonal check-ins

Important SMS terms:

Message frequency varies based on your project stage and ongoing communications.
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
For help, reply HELP or contact us directly through avpjax.com.
We will never sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing.
SMS opt-in consent is not shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing under any circumstance.

If you opt out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us, but this may impact our ability to communicate with you about your project.

4. Estimates and Quotes

All estimates provided by AVP Construction JAX are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. Estimates are not binding until accepted in writing (including digital signature) by the client and a deposit is received. Pricing reflects materials, labor, and applicable Florida sales tax.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms are detailed in each project's individual contract. Generally:

A deposit is required before work begins.
Final payment is due upon completion of the project.
We accept payment by credit card, ACH, Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, cash, check, or approved financing.
Late or unpaid invoices may be subject to follow-up communication and, where applicable, late fees as defined in the project contract.

6. Workmanship Warranty

AVP Construction JAX warrants its workmanship for one (1) year from the date of project completion. This warranty covers defects in installation and workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, normal wear and tear, modifications by others, or acts of nature. Material warranties (if any) are provided by the original manufacturer.

7. Cancellations and Changes

Cancellation and change order policies are detailed in each individual project contract. Generally, deposits may be non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has begun.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on avpjax.com — including text, photos, designs, project images, and our logo — is the property of AVP Construction JAX INC and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission.

We may photograph completed projects for our portfolio and marketing (including social media). If you do not want photos of your project shared publicly, please notify us in writing before work begins.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, AVP Construction JAX INC's liability for any claim related to our services or your use of our website shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to AVP Construction JAX for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Duval County or St. Johns County, Florida.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date." Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
